We can also look at programs for Androids.  On your Registration Form, please add the name of program you currently use (if you have one). There will be a further session on this topic on Sunday 13th October.

13FRC015  Saturday 17th August, 10.00-12noon                    Classroom Workshop
Presenters  Christine Mills and Malcolm McDonald

The NZSG library in Panmure houses one of the best collections of Irish genealogical material in New Zealand.  Sadly, many researchers are either unaware of this fact or are at a loss as to how to use the material available to them.  Christine and Malcolm will highlight some of the more essential resources as well as some of the lesser used ‘gems’ in this marvellous collection.  It is no exaggeration to say that pretty much everything you need to uncover the secrets of your Irish ancestral roots is under this one roof!

Looking at More Australian Records                                          $15.00
13FRC016  Saturday 24th August, 10.00am-1.30pm               Computer Workshop
Presenter  Bruce Tudor

In this second Australian Workshop we will attempt to add some of the history about your ancestors. We will look at records such as convict records, Census and Muster records if you had a convict. We will also delve into the many State Record Offices and State Libraries and search for Military Records, Electoral Records and much more. We will also use some of the vast collection available on CD ROM. Bring your lunch. After the workshop Bruce will be available for one-to-one help in the Library. This course is for the new researcher as well as the more experienced. If you have some basic details about your family and want to find lots more this course is for you.
