Queen's Birthday Weekend
Friday 30 May-Monday 2 June, 2008
St Bede's College, Main North Road, Papanui, CHRISTCHURCH.

From early whalers on Banks Peninsula to the Chinese gold miners on the West Coast, from the German farming settlements on the plains to Irish miners wresting coal from Burnett's Face, the 2008 conference will actively embrace the story of populations on both sides of the Southern Alps.

An exciting collection of speakers has been engaged for the 2008 AGM and conference of the NZSG in Christchurch. The conference theme, "From Coast to Coast", will focus on Canterbury and the West Coast, but there is something for everyone in the diverse programme

We are privileged to have as keynote speakers two of America's top genealogical researchers and speakers,
Sharon DeBartolo Carmack and James Warren.

Our venue is St Bede's College, Main North Road, Papanui,
which has the benefit of being on main bus routes and within walking distance of a diverse range of accommodation.

The combined Canterbury branches look forward to seeing you in 2008 at "From Coast to Coast",
Friday 30 May to Monday 2 June 2008.
