Ivan Pivac: "Economic conditions 1880 to 1914 and immigration into Northland"
Blinded at the age of 12, Ivan's life has been one of involvement in many areas - sport, music, travel experiences and work (an acupuncturist for many years, owner of a company importing specialist products, and director of two technology companies).
"Blindness is not a handicap, believes Ivan, but the key for opening a treasure trove of fascinating glimpses into human behaviour of others"
Ivan holds a degree in Psychology from Auckland University, a degree in business from Massey University, and a Masters in Commerce from Auckland University.
