Methodist Archives in Christchurch - Notice of Short Closure
The Methodist Archives in Christchurch will be closing our Reading Room in the Archives storage facility during the cold winter months, while the Archivist is away.
Closed from Wednesday 29 May 2013 reopening Wednesday 17 July 2013.
Over this period, emails to the Archives email address will be monitored, and any urgent enquiries will be responded to.

NZSG Wellington Region
Family History talks. These will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, starting on Tuesday 16th April at 12.10pm.
The venue is the Douglas Lilburn room, Alexander Turnbull Library, Level 1, National Library building, corner of Molesworth and Aitken Streets, Wellington.
Note that the numbers are limited so booking is essential, either by email to outreach2@dia.govt.nz or by phone to Celia Joe on 04 462 3935

First Families Search page relocated
First Families Search is a members only service and has been relocated to Record Collections in the Members Area. The First Familes page in the Resources menu is being redeveloped. To access First Familes Search you need to be logged into the website. If you are logged in go directly to First Families Search>>>.
If not log in and then go to the Members Area, then the Records Collection and there access First Families Search.

In this, the first of several stages of consultation, we invite your ideas about how to develop our strengths, and your proposals for our goals with practical methods of achieving them.  The close-off date for submissions is 30 April 2013.
