Be part of the 2018 NZSG Conference

Poster Competition

We would like you to design a poster,  no larger than A2 size, with your interpretation of our theme.

There are two categories available to enter:

Individual / Branch or Interest Group

 

Poster Competition Rules

  • Size to be no larger than A2, either portrait or landscape.

  • Style and medium used is the entrant’s choice. (Could be printed, photos, scrapbook, painted.)

  • Name of the entrant, individual or branch or interest group to be on the rear side of the poster only. There could be identifying names in the actual design.

  • In the case of a branch or interest group entry their identifying name can be included in the poster design.

  • Entry Form can be downloaded from the website (see below)

  • Electronic entries to be accompanied by entry form,  filled in scanned,  and attached which must be received via the NZSG website or email to conference2018@genealogy.org.nz by 30th April 2018 and printing costs will be $12.

    (This can be paid through the NZSG Website Shop HERE. Extra time required to organise printing.)

  • If sending hard copy by post, entries and entry form,  must be received ahead of conference by 25th May 2018, to

    NZSG 2018 Conference Poster Competition, PO Box 37258, Halswell, Christchurch 8245

  • If hand delivered, entries in hard copy must be received, no later than Friday 1st June 2018 from the entrant or from someone else on their behalf, in person.

  • Judging will be done by popular choice by conference attendees during Saturday at Conference.

  • Winners will be announced at the Conference Dinner on Saturday 2nd June.

  • Entries can be collected at the end of the conference. If you are not attending in person and want your entry returned, please arrange for someone to collect it on your behalf.

  • No entries will be returned by the organisers.
