The NZSG has an extensive range of books, journals, microfiche, maps, CDs and miscellaneous items which are surplus to our requirements.   These items are either duplicates, or are not suitable for our genealogical library.

There are 738 items listed in the catalogue for sale:

  • Books - pages 1 to 34
  • Journals and magazines - pages 34 to 36
  • Microfiche - page 36
  • Maps - pages 36 - 38
  • CD Roms - page 39
  • Miscellaneous - page 39
  • NZ Herald Supplements - page 40

NZSG invites you to review items in the Book Sale Catalogue and place a bid for the item(s) you wish to purchase.

Please read the item descriptions carefully and consider the year of publication and the number of pages before making a bid.  While we want to raise funds for purchasing more material for the library,  we do not like to see members paying over the top for any item.

Placing a Bid

  • All bids must be submitted on an official Bid Sheet
  • You can bid for as many items as you like
  • Check the compatibility of CD Roms before purchase as many may not run on your computer
  • Postage and packaging is within New Zealand.  In the event your bid is successful,  postage will be calculated on your total order
  • Your Bid Sheet must arrive by the closing date.

Send them to:

  • By post to:  NZSG Book Sale,  PO Box 14036, Panmure, Auckland 1741.   All bids may be placed in the same envelope
  • Or Fax to:  09 570 4238
  • Or scan the Bid Sheet and email as attachment to:  accounts@genealogy.org.nz with the subject "Book Sale"

Closing date for bids is Sunday 15 April 2018

If your bid is successful you will be notified after the closing date.  Members will be notified by MemList and e-Kit when all bids have been processed and the sale is over.  Items will not be sent until payment has been received.  Postage and packaging costs are additional on all items.  Further terms and conditions are listed on the official Bid Sheet.

Good luck - we hope you find something of interest in this year's catalogue of surplus stock.
