A Celebratory Luncheon is to be held on the anniversary date of the Society’s inaugural meeting that was held in Auckland on 15 August 1967. It is hoped that simultaneous luncheons will be held either in regional centres throughout the country or at local Branches. It would be great if as many branches/groups as possible helped us celebrate this milestone. It is planned that the proceedings of the Auckland Luncheon be live-streamed to all the other venues. The Auckland event will have a notable personality as compère speaker and host. Presentations will be given by a member of the NZSG Board of Directors and other invited guests.

Please send the email address and mobile phone details of the person organising your event to 50years@genealogy.org.nz so that you can be contacted about linking into the live streaming from the Auckland event.
